NEW! Shuttle Service Option
New this year is the option to take a shuttle to and from the start/finish(camp moran). This will save you money, reduce the carbon footprint of the race and will help greatly to alleviate the problem of limited parking at the start/finish. You'll park (for free) at the ferry terminal in Anacortes, walk on to the ferry(walk on fee is only $10 compared to $30 for cars plus another $10 for each passenger) and then once on Orcas Island you'll board the shuttle bus at the ferry landing (you'll will have to pre-pay $10 with your race registration fee to board the shuttle) which will take you directly to the start/finish. There will be multiple times to catch the shuttle bus on friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning--runners who sign up for the shuttle service will be emailed more information about the shuttle schedule. Most likely there will be 2 trips friday afternoon/evening and one early saturday morning to choose from to get you to the race and 2 trips saturday afternoon/evening and 1 sunday morning to get you back to the ferry--this depends on the number of people who choose to sign up for this option(the more people who sign up the more options there will be).
