For those of you needing to volunteer your way into the race(or anyone really for any reason!)... again this year we will be joining the park rangers at Moran State Park the weekend before the race to do some volunteer work on the trails and/or other park projects. the work party will be saturday jan 29, we'll meet at 9am at camp moran(the start/finish of the race) in moran state park. We'll do an optional group run sunday morning and folks can
we'll probably work for 6-8 hours with a break for lunch--come prepared w/a "brown bag lunch" you can carry with you in a little backpack or something. the scope of the work has not yet been determined, we may be doing trail work or we may be helping with another project or projects for the park--i should have that info by the last week of the month.
